Adaptable On-Orbit Interface
AOOI
Currently, the OSAM industry is hampered by a lack of standardized interfaces between spacecraft. This is like trying to plug different electronic devices into each other without universal adapters. It leads to significant compatibility issues, increased mission costs, and logistical nightmares, hindering the growth of this vital sector.
Phigi's AOOI solves this problem by using thousands of tiny, autonomous micro-robots (just 4mm in diameter and 25mg each) that can assemble into adaptable capture structures. This "programmable surface" can conform to any existing spacecraft interface, creating a universal connection point. We also offer the Electrodock system for data and control, along with our guidance software for remote management of the swarm.
